President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Femi Adesina, The Sun Newspaper managing director and Garba Shehu, Head, President Muhammadu Buhari Media Team as presidential spokespersons.
He stated that Femi Adesina will serve as Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) while Garba Shehu will be new Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity).
Adesina until his appointment was the current president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) and served as Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun newspapers.
He approved the appointment of Abdullahi Kazaure as State of Chief Protocol. He presently serves in Aso Rock Villa as a Special Assistant (Presidential Matters).
