Female paedophile jailed for just two years after having sex with 8 year old boy over 50 times

A 21 year old female paedophile has been jailed for having regular intercourse with an 8 year old boy. Loren Morris, who was 16 at the time had regular sexual encounters with the boy, who cannot be identified until he was 10.

Morris, who now has a child of her own, was found out after the boy was overheard by teachers bragging about it at school. The judge handed the 21 year old a two year prison sentence after she was found guilty of three counts of having sex with a child under 16.

Upon giving the sentence, the judge said that he would be lenient as the defendant ‘realised it was wrong’ and ended it with the boy.

West Mercia police were tipped of last March after the boys school contacted them to say that he had been bragging to friends about his sexual encounters with Morris.

Judge Robert Juckes told the defendant, “I make no secret of the fact your case has given me cause for much consideration.

“I have come to the conclusion that due to the concern and embarrassment caused to both you and your family that you will not be offending again, let alone committing sexual offences.

“I am also aware of the effect this will have on your baby. I am pleased to hear your parents have started to build bridges with you.

“That does not stop the fact though that you had full sexual intercourse with a child when he was eight to 10 years old – by his evidence it was upwards of fifty times”.

He added, “It seems to me that I am bound to pass an immediate custodial sentence. I take into account what has been said to me and the fact that you stopped the activity yourself.

“You realised it was wrong rather than being caught and forced to stop. Therefore my sentence is one of two years. You will serve 12 months in prison before being released on licence”.

Morris, formerly from Lyde in Herefordshire was also given a Sexual Offences Prevention Order which bans her from contact with any child under the age of 16 without parental consent. She will also have to sign the Sexual Offenders Register, where her details will be stored for 10 years.
