Nigeria has 18 million people connected to Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg the founder of facebook has said that his unannounced visit to Nigeria was to meet with technology startup in the country, in his meeting with them, he assured the technology start-up and small and medium scale Enterprise of Facebook support for easy access and connectivity to the internet. He acknowledged that Nigeria has the largest African market for Facebook, which has a current user of 18 million out of about 2 million users worldwide. In his speech he encouraged the government to reduce the cost of internet access and make provisions for more access to the internet for all its citizens.
