Tosan Jemide unveils “The Tallest Cake in Africa”



The Chief Executive Officer of Cakes by Tosan, Tosan Jemide, has pulled all stops ensure a successful outing of “The Tallest Cake in Africa.”
The first ever event in the country will hold at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos, this Thursday.
According to insider information, the cake will be ten-tiered and will stand at the proposed height of 28 feet in order to beat the current Guinness World Records, which is of about 26 feet.
Tosan, at a recent press briefing where he gave reasons for organising the historical event, said “it is time that we took on another challenge. What better challenge than to build the tallest cake in Africa,” saying that he chose Africa, especially Nigeria for the project was in order to emphasize the positivity and creativity coming from the continent.
This record breaking event will run through an exciting four-day experience which will end in the final dismantling of the cake.
Expected to attend the event is the Guinness Book of Records team has been invited to the event. Admission is free for all
