Beheaded After Calling Out A Foul

It all started with one red card and ended with two dead people.

In a Northern town of Brazil, a seemingly normal soccer match took a turn when the referee, Jordan Silva, called a foul and handed out a red card to Josenir Santo Abreu.

The player was not pleased with the verdict and confronted the referee. As the argument heated up, the referee pulled out a knife and stabbed the player in the chest.

While the player was rushed to hospital, his angry family members got hold of the referee and tied him up with the help of the equally angry fans.

As they were torturing the tied up referee in the field, they got wind of the news that the player did not make it to the hospital alive.

That was the last straw as the family members and mob stoned the referee to death before cutting him up into pieces. According to the Associated Press, which cited local media accounts of the murder, the mob went on to display the referee's head at midfield of the soccer pitch.

The police finally arrested the culprits responsible for the murder who were caught on camera during the horrendous act.
